Why should you consider using contact lenses during sports?

Living life through our lenses
Most active people prefer to leave their prescription glasses on the side lines. Replacing your glasses for contact lenses could make a massive difference to your performance, especially in competitive sports.
Contact lenses do not fog up during play, move as you run or obstruct your field of vision. In contrast, they allow excellent peripheral vision and do not interfere with protective head gear.
Possibly the biggest advantage of contact lenses is improved depth perception in comparison to glasses. Because contact lenses are thin and fit directly on the eyeball, they do not negatively affect depth perception by magnification or minification.
The right pair of contact lenses can also improve presbyopia (natural loss of clear close-up vision). Click here for more on Presbyopia
If you enjoy recreational or competitive sports and don’t want to be held back by glasses, invest in prescription contact lenses. You won’t regret it.
