When should your child come for an eye test?

It is essential that you bring your child for an eye exam prior to grade one (age 5-6). Check-ups should be done every 1 to 2 years thereafter. However, if ever you notice anything out of the ordinary or that causes you to worry, bring them immediately. The earlier an eye-related illnesses is diagnosed and treated, the less impact it will have on a child’s development.
